1.What does the program entail?

 

The AUSA Pilot Project is a one-on-one, online peer coaching enrichment program for middle and high school students. This program offers tutoring in core subjects like Math, Science, and English along with specialized topic support and homework assistance. Parents or guardians are encouraged to actively support their children's participation, ensuring regular attendance and engagement.

 

2. Which grade levels do you cater to?


We offer tutoring services for students in grades 6 through 12 during this pilot project phase.

 

3. What subjects are covered in your tutoring services?


Tutoring is available in core subjects, including math, science, English, history, and additional specific topics within each subject.

 

4. Do you assist with homework assignments?


Absolutely! Our tutors are here to help with homework and provide tailored lesson plans to enhance understanding of the subjects and improve grades.

 

5. Can you guarantee an improved GPA in the subjects?


We cannot guarantee improved GPAs, as progress depends on the student s motivation, effort, and the active involvement of parents or guardians.

 

6. Is there a limit to the number of tutoring sessions one can attend?


Yes, students are limited to two sessions per week in the same subject or one session per week in two different subjects.

 

7. How do I register for AUSA online tutoring?


Registration is simple! Visit our website to sign up with your email. After registration, an AUSA admin will contact you to schedule an interview with the student and parent/guardian. Upon acceptance, an AUSA professional will select the instructor, and a one-hour orientation will be scheduled.

 

8. What are the program guidelines?

The admin will pair the student with a tutor and provide an orientation for online coaching. The specific coaching schedule, including the day and time, will be arranged based on the mutual convenience of both the student and tutor. If any changes to the schedule are necessary, both the student and instructor share equal responsibility for rescheduling to ensure regular coaching sessions take place at least once a week.

Parents/guardians are encouraged to supervise and motivate students to fulfill their commitments. Weekly meetings are recommended, excluding holidays or family vacations.

Students and parents are expected to attend periodic gatherings for motivational talks, awards, and group activities.

 

9. Is the tutoring one-on-one or group-based?


Tutoring is primarily one-on-one in academic subjects, group classes online or in person will be held as need for the test preps and test prep, for life skills, and social responsibility talks.

 

10. What technology or software do I need for tutoring sessions?


A computer or mobile device with internet access is sufficient. We use user-friendly online platform for the sessions.

 

11. How can I get help if I encounter technical issues during tutoring?


Our Tech-support team is available to assist with any technical issues you may face. Contact us by email or phone.
